She is a former Minister of Communication, Tourism and a cabinet Minister.
She was Ghana's former Ambassador to the Czech Republic

Tariq Siddiq Ahmed Kandaik is Sudanese Legal consultant, Resident of the United Arab Emirates.
He is a Member of the Sudanese Bar Association, Khartoum 1994 – Present and also Member of the Arab Center for Arbitration (Certified Arbitrator)
Khartoum 2012 – Present.
He is a Member of the Sudanese Center for Arbitration and Conciliation (Certified Arbitrator)
Khartoum 2016 – Present
He is an internationally acclaimed human rights activist who has worked on numerous human rights issues and persons with disabilities in Sudan, Africa and the United Arab Emirates.

Professor Abdoulaye Thiam is a distinguished Senegalese expert in social development, disability rights, and inclusive policy, with over two decades of leadership in training, research, and public service.
He has served as Director and Professor at Senegal’s premier institution for social work (ENTSS), Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Social Development, and consultant for leading international organizations including the World Bank, ACPF, and the European Union. A passionate advocate for vulnerable groups, he is also President of SOS Sahel Vert and a key member of national and regional platforms promoting the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities.

MANAGEMENT OF ADPA
ADPA Executive Director-Ms. Aïda Sarr
The Executive Director of the African Disability Policy Advocates(ADPA) is a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in journalism and communications. She brings over a decade of experience in strategic planning, project management, and public relations, having served for more than 12 years with the Africa Disability Alliance (ADA).
Her work reflects a deep commitment to human rights, particularly in advocating for the inclusion and empowerment of vulnerable groups such as women and girls with disabilities. Through international diplomacy and multilateral engagement, she has effectively contributed to solving complex social issues across Africa, ensuring that the rights of persons with disabilities are at the heart of national and continental policy processes.
She played a pivotal role in advancing the adoption and ratification of the African Disability Protocol and the Model Disability Law, aligning national policies with the human rights standards of the African Union (AU).
Her leadership extends to capacity strengthening, having trained African Union organs, senior government officials, and civil society actors, including supporting the Network of African Women with Disabilities (NAWWD) in humanitarian action initiatives, in partnership with the Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC). She has facilitated strategic alliances between women’s groups in both Francophone and Anglophone countries to bolster inclusive humanitarian response.
As the ADA contact to the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), she led consultative engagements across West, Central, East, North, and Southern Africa, ensuring the Model Disability Law (MDL) reflects the aspirations of people with disabilities in Africa. Her efforts have significantly influenced policy harmonization within the AU system, with the MDL embedding a strong gender equality perspective.
Her leadership continues to guide ADPA’s vision toward a just, inclusive, and equitable Africa for all.

Director of International Diplomacy and Policy- Hon Jeff Tetteh Kavianu
The Director of International policy and diplomacy of ADPA, is a former Member of Parliament of Upper Manya Krobo constituency in the eastern Region of Ghana.
He served as a member of the Committee in parliament that has direct oversight of persons with disabilities in Ghana.
He represented Ghana in the Pan African Parliament and also the ECOWAS parliament on disability protocols and law Reforms. He is a successful businessman and Contractor, providing clean drinking water in rural, urban and sub-urban communities in Ghana.

Head of Project Management and Strategic Planning-Kwaku Ansah Botwe
The Head of Project Management and Strategic Planning of ADPA is seasoned JOURNALIST , political activist, disability advocate and ICT professional with knowledge in Artificial Intelligence.
He is the president of the Network of Journalists for the Promotion of the Rights of Persons with disabilities in Africa (PROMOAFRICA), He has attended and delivered research works on disabilities across the globe.
He is the CEO of TodayGhanaNews TV based in Germany, and the publisher of the Evening Tribune Newspaper in Accra-Ghana. He is also a founding father of the Progressive Journalists Union of Ghana.
He is noted for his strategic communication, Marketing and Public relation skills for companies, politicians and businesses.
He holds MBA program certificate,Business administration from the European Institute of Leadership and Management and also a professional Certificate in AI and Machine Learning from the Purdue University.

Head of Communication and Administration of ADPA Ms. Mariam Nyarkoa Amponsah
The Head of Communication and Administration of ADPA, is a trained Public Relations Officer and advocate for persons with disabilities, women, and children.
She holds an BA in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana, she serves as Secretary of the Network for promotion of the Rights of Persons with disabilities in Africa PROMO-AFRICA Ghana, promoting rights, advocating and exclusivity of persons with disability in Africa.
